Wendy, the owner and certified dog trainer at The Life of Riley Pet Care Services LLC, is a graduate of Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior. She holds a certification as a Behavior Consultant for Canines through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and is also a Fear-Free Certified Animal Trainer. Wendy obtained her B.Sc. degree in Animal Science from Illinois State University. Her certifications include CCFT and she operates with a philosophy centered on positive reinforcement only, utilizing techniques such as operant conditioning, classical conditioning, counter conditioning, and desensitization.
Wendy’s approach focuses on helping dogs and cats make good choices, which are then rewarded to enhance their lives and well-being, ultimately strengthening their relationship with their humans.
