Mutts with Manners is a team of three friends with over 30 years of combined experience in the zoo industry. Our goal is to share our expertise and teach you the secrets of successful animal training.
As co-owners and dog trainers, we believe in using positive reinforcement to train animals, ensuring safe, kind, and gentle techniques. Our training philosophy is simple: Keep it Pawsitive!
We offer basic obedience classes for puppies and adult dogs, focusing on essential behaviors such as sit, down, stay, come, leave it, walking on a leash, and a ‘fun trick.’
For more advanced training, we work on off-leash walking, remaining calm in public settings, and more. Additionally, we provide specialized classes like Pet Therapy training, where you and your dog will learn how to handle clumsy petting and exposure to equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, IV stands, and more.
We also conduct agility classes to help fine-tune existing behaviors or troubleshoot any issues that may have arisen. Our services include board and trains, group classes, and private lessons, either at your location or ours.
