Tena Parker, CPDT-KA, M.S., has been involved in dog training for over 15 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Physics from Sarah Lawrence College.
Tena is the head trainer and owner of Success Just Clicks Dog Training located in Pittsburgh, PA. Tena is dedicated to using positive reinforcement and clicker training in basic obedience as well as with behaviorally challenged dogs. She values ongoing education in the ever-changing field of dog training, regularly attending seminars to stay updated on the latest practices.

- Training Equipment: Tena suggests but doesn’t require a clicker. She recommends front attach harnesses, rear attach harnesses, flat collars, martingale collars, and occasionally a head collar (gentle leader/halti)
- Training Philosophy: Tena is firmly rooted in positive reinforcement training. She believes that all dogs can learn new behaviors without the use of force, fear, or intimidation. Training should be an enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Locations Served: Almost all of the City of Pittsburgh, North West Allegheny County, parts of Southern Butler (Cranberry/Mars area), parts of Western Allegheny County (Moon/Robinson), and some areas just south of Pittsburgh (Mt. Lebanon). Students outside the service area are welcome to come to the training center for private training. Note: This is an approximate service area and may change as the emphasis is placed on the training center.

Success Just Clicks Dog Training provides training to meet a wide range of needs, including:
- Behavior Modification: aggression, fear aggression, on-leash reactivity, resource guarding, severe fear issues, and complex behavioral cases
- Basic Manners: sit, down, stay, loose leash walking, focus, and other basic life skills
- Advanced Manners: Canine Good Citizen (CGC) training and testing, and Canine Life And Social Skills (CLASS) training and testing
- Competition Dog Sports: Foundation skills for performance dogs, agility flatwork, agility foundations, performance puppy class, rally-obedience, obedience, foundations for freestyle, and scent work
- Puppy Classes: puppy pre-K socialization class, Puppy K class
