Dog Years Dog Training offers obedience, problem-solving, behavior modification, reward-based training, house training, manners, in-home private training sessions, management and leadership skills, fun clicker training, and tricks.
The trainer, an honor graduate of Animal Behavior College, is certified as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. The training philosophy centers on using reward-based and positive methods, such as treats, toys, head collars, long-line training leashes, and body harnesses. The emphasis is on avoiding anything that might cause the dog pain.
The trainer firmly believes that every dog, regardless of size, breed, or age, deserves to shine. The service locations cover south-central Pennsylvania, including the Susquehanna valley, York, Lancaster, Ephrata, Columbia, Hershey, Harrisburg, Shrewsbury, and surrounding areas.
