Rosie Higdon
has been teaching dog obedience classes since 1985. She is an active member of the Association for Pet Dog Trainers and has been training and competing with her own dogs in multiple dog sports. Her training career began in high school.

Rosie also offers a “Be A Tree” program for school age children, which is a dog bite prevention seminar program.
Certifications
Rosie is a member of the Association for Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and a licensed presenter for the “Be A Tree” program.
Specializations
Rosie specializes in obedience training, puppy training, agility training, nose work, and trick training. She also offers classes for dogs of all ages and breeds.
Training Methods
Rosie uses positive reinforcement methods to train dogs. She believes in building a strong bond between the dog and handler and using positive reinforcement to motivate the dog to learn.
