Beacon of Hope Dogs offers classes at its beautiful Alpine, CA training center and conducts in-home private consults and training.
All trainers are certified, insured, and bonded. Nan Arthur, the owner, has over 23 years of experience in the field, with a background in sheltering and rescue.
She is also the author of the book ‘Chill Out Fido! How to Calm your Dog,’ published by Dog Wise Publishing. Nan is a facility member of Karen Pryor Academy, a DogSafe Canine First Aid instructor, and holds certifications with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and the Karen Pryor Academy.
