Handle with Care Dog Training offers puppy preparation and basic obedience for dogs at all levels. They specialize in in-home training for fear, aggression, separation anxiety, and more. They are certified to use training equipment such as buckle collars, Martingales, halters, front and back harnesses, while avoiding slips, chokes, e-collars, and retractable leashes.
Their training philosophy focuses on helping clients understand dog behavior and effective communication using positive motivation only. Service areas include San Luis Obispo County, CA. The trainer relies on body motion, hand signals, and facial expressions, adding verbal cues after the dog has learned a behavior. They primarily work one-on-one, with a focus on helping animals with aggression issues feel more comfortable in their environment. Their ultimate goal is to provide these animals with a better quality of life.
