Makayla Dunn-Collins
Makayla followed her childhood dream and began working with animals five years ago. She first worked at a dog boarding facility, where she managed playgroups and maintained a clean facility for animals in her care. When she adopted Crosby, a dog with unique personality quirks, she needed help communicating her expectations with him. With the help of her mentor and peers at Seven Acres, she made progress in their communication and found it very rewarding.
Makayla strives to provide this same rewarding feeling to all of her clients when they learn how to communicate with their pets.
Makayla is a trainer at Seven Acres, which offers a variety of services, including:

Perfect Puppy Program:
A 15-21 day board and train program for puppies that includes obedience, socialization, and house manners training.

Board & Train Program:
A program where dogs stay at Seven Acres while they receive training and learn new behaviors. Owners are then taught how to implement the training at home.

Individual Lessons:
Customized training plans for dogs who need to refine their manners and obedience.

Behavior Modification:
Programs to help dogs with fear, phobia, or aggressive behavior.

Overnight Care:
Boarding services for dogs who have received training at Seven Acres.
Seven Acres also offers puppy selection counseling, facility tours, and a variety of spa services.
Makayla is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).
