Lola Carey uses force-free, humane training techniques. She does not use harsh, aversive methods that will hurt your dog. Her training methods are science-based in Animal Learning Theory. Your dog’s personality and motivational preferences are used to help your dog succeed. Your schedule and lifestyle patterns are discussed before a plan is implemented.

Lola Carey offers private lessons for new and returning clients. These sessions are designed to help you and your dog learn the skills you need to succeed.

Reactive Rover Class:
This class is for dogs who are reactive to other dogs. It is held on Saturday mornings at 10 am.

Special A.C.E. Free Work:
This service helps create calmness, body balance, soothes high anxiety and arousal, fosters Choice in your canine companion. Improve your canine communication skills and observation skills. Sessions build upon these skills each time.

4-Session Package with Discount – Returning Clients:
This package is for returning clients who have completed the Meet and Greet Session.

Single session – Returning Clients:
This session is for returning clients who have completed the NEW CLIENT assessment package.

2-session in-person Package – Returning Clients:
This package is for returning clients who have completed the assessment package.

Field Play for You and Your Dog:
This service allows you and your dog to come play in the large fenced field at the Lucky Leash Training Center.

This phone conversation is for people who are thinking about dog training but not sure who they want to work with, have a particular problem they want to discuss, or are not sure if they want to work with Lola Carey.

We recently took OP with us on a trip to Vancouver. When we arrived, we took OP out of the car and walked into an unknown environment with men around. He walked up to the men and said an appropriate doggie hello and went about his business of smelling things. There were so many loud sounds and unfamiliar sounds and he didn’t bark or act in any way but calm and just ok. It was amazing! We also took him through a drive-through and he only barked once.
