Lisa specializes in bringing out the best behaviors in dogs using gentle, positive methods to ensure they thrive in their forever homes. She focuses on teaching puppies and dogs how to behave well, develop good leash manners, address unwanted behaviors, and acquire socialization and real-life skills.
Lisa’s expertise extends to helping shy, feral, and fearful dogs gain trust and build confidence. Her approach involves positive associations to help reactive dogs feel safer, as well as using various equipment such as flat and martingale collars, body harnesses, long lines, treats, toys, praise, and food puzzle toys to engage dogs mentally and physically during training.
Lisa’s philosophy is centered on ensuring that dogs can maintain a wonderful forever home with loving owners. Servicing areas including Irvine, Tustin, Newport Beach, and surrounding South OC areas, Lisa offers Day Training and Private Training. She provides coaching for both owners and their dogs, focusing on establishing good behavior at home, mastering basic and advanced commands, and addressing leash manners and unwanted behaviors.
Lisa’s training also encompasses socialization and real-life skills, teaching dogs to be dog-friendly, and helping them become more confident and less fearful in various situations. Additionally, she supports rescues such as Irvine Animal Care Center, OC Animal Care Center, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Humane Society of the US, ASPCA, and Houston SPCA by donating a portion of her training income to aid in finding rescued dogs their forever homes.
