About this trainer

The Barking Lot Training at Jungle Camp Pet Resort offers basic and manners obedience, novice polish, puppy class, conformation, behavior modification, private lessons, board & train, and behavior consultation. They are certified and located in Aubrey, TX, just 2 miles off Hwy 380 between McKinney and Denton, TX.

They serve North Dallas, Frisco, Plano, McKinney, and the Stonebridge area, along with Celina, Lewisville, Corinth, The Colony, Little Elm, Denton, Aubrey, and Pilot Point. Specializing in helping families train their dogs to be well-mannered family members, they also teach conformation and competition obedience for those interested in showing. They have finished several conformation champions and placed obedience titles on numerous dogs.

The board & train option allows them to work with dogs in a home atmosphere. The group classes are educational and enjoyable for both dogs and families, emphasizing positive reinforcement. The owner gets to bond with their dog, and they ensure the classes are upbeat and fun. Feedback from classes has consistently been positive.

They also offer a class focused on modifying aggression and are pleased to see more people seeking professional trainers for help with their reactive dogs. The trainer teaches students how to recognize stress and dog body language, a class well received by adults and children. Classes are conducted in a fully shaded, one-acre, fenced training area and will soon be held in a climate-controlled building.

Many vets and boarding resorts bring them in to teach obedience to their customers. The trainer often states, ‘I would rather train dogs than eat,’ emphasizing their passion for training dogs.
