The Teacher’s Pet Dog Training, LLC offers training for dogs and small pets, serving Southeastern Wisconsin. They provide behavior consulting, service and therapy dog training, and behavior consultations.
Their certifications include training equipment such as flat collars, harnesses, and head collars. Their training philosophy centers on the responsibility to teach dogs in a way they can understand and to set them up for success.
Training takes place on an in-home basis only, providing a comfortable environment for clients and dogs to learn. All household members are encouraged to participate, as most behavior issues tend to occur at home or nearby.
The training sessions are individually structured to provide an understanding of normal dog behavior, the reasons behind certain behaviors, and how to modify problem behaviors. The focus is on changing problem behavior into more acceptable behavior by ensuring the dog understands what is required and managing the environment for their success.
The approach is practical and tailored to address basic pet behaviors or modify behavior issues effectively.
