Laura has been training and working with animals since she was 10 years old. She started with rehabilitating abused track horses that had come to her barn for rescue and placement. After retiring from working with horses, she began to work with dogs. She has always been focused on positive experiences and outcomes for the animals she trains.
Training Philosophy
Laura trains by the motto, “All behavior serves a purpose.” In this way, she evaluates the root cause of the behavior and seeks to find behaviors that are beneficial to both dog and owner. She believes that every dog deserves a chance to succeed in being a member of our families.
