Clever Pooch Academy provides private, in-home education for puppies and adult dogs, as well as their owners. The Academy offers force-free, positive reinforcement dog training services including obedience training, behavior problem solving, consultations, coaching, day training, training walks, personalized in-home pet boarding, and dog walking services.
The training philosophy focuses on teaching owners to understand and communicate effectively with their dogs. Services are available throughout the entire New York City area, including the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. The Academy uses training equipment such as clickers, halti gentle leader headcollars, and target sticks to achieve its goals.
