Training Philosophy
JoAnn Pruim believes that training should be motivating and fun. She emphasizes building a trusting relationship with the dog and understanding what motivates them. Her goal is to have dogs listen without the use of any tools, achieving this by building up behaviors with tools and then fading them out. She believes it is unethical to suppress behaviors bred into dogs for generations and advocates for working with the dog to provide constructive outlets.
