Wiggles and Woofs Dog Training and Pet Care, LLC is owned and operated by Jen, who offers group classes, online seminars, and private sessions for clients. With a particular affinity for rescue dogs, Jen enjoys addressing a wide range of basic manners and behavioral issues, but finds fulfillment in assisting fearful and reactive dogs. She holds certifications as a CBATI and utilizes training equipment such as harnesses, leashes, clickers (optional), treat bags, toys, and treats. Jen’s training philosophy centers on positive methods, emphasizing their safety and effectiveness. She employs ethical, science-based techniques, avoiding tools or methods that induce pain or fear in dogs. Her services are available in the east side of the greater Seattle metropolitan area, encompassing Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Mercer Island, and Woodinville, WA.
Graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2005, Jen has gained extensive experience by volunteering with Seattle Animal Shelter, Seattle Humane, and other organizations. This experience has facilitated her work with dogs of various sizes, breeds, and needs. In addition, as a former science teacher, Jen is a National Board Certified Teacher with a Master of Science in Education. Her teaching style incorporates best practices for both human learning and canine behavior.
