Jeb Cadwell
is the owner of
Threshold Dog Training
and the director of the non-profit,
Reset Dog Training Network
. He grew up in rural New Hampshire while subjected to up to six extremely untrained dogs at a time – hence his fascination with training dogs!
Jeb has logged over 20,000 hours of dog training and human coaching. His ability to communicate with clients is influenced by his past as a preschool teacher and a youth-at-risk counselor.
Training Philosophy
Jeb Cadwell’s training philosophy adheres to the principles of the Hippocratic Oath: when in doubt do no harm. Therefore, he uses the least invasive, minimally aversive methods as is possible. He is a firm believer in the spirit of the Hippocratic Oath, which in short is to “do good or to do no harm.” He is also a firm believer in raising dogs to have the ability to process a bit of frustration, take cues from their humans, and be content with delayed gratification.
