The Master Trainer, with decades of experience, focuses on maintaining a gentle, kind, and enjoyable training environment. The use of positive reinforcement techniques guarantees swift and reliable results, while preserving the trust bond between the dog and its owner.
The training philosophy prioritizes positivity, ensuring a superior and effective approach for dogs of all temperaments and ages.
The training equipment recommended includes Gentle Leaders or Easy Walk Harnesses, flat buckle collars or martingales, a four-foot leash, a two-foot leash, a clicker, treats, toys, bully sticks, and Kongs.
The classes are conducted in English. The trainer is committed to providing only positive reinforcement/LIMA dog behavior training, having transitioned from traditional choke-chain training to positive reinforcement decades ago.
The approach has consistently produced impressive results, with clients expressing amazement at the rapid progress their dogs make with the clicker and treats. The dogs enjoy attending the classes and respond well to the training techniques.
In addition to group classes, in-home private training is available for dogs that may not be suited for a group environment. The primary focus of the training is to assist clients in teaching their dogs the necessary skills to ensure a lifelong companionship and prevent them from ending up in shelters.
While aggression is not addressed, the trainer works with reactive dogs to provide simple, enjoyable training that ensures a fulfilling life with their canine companions.
