Deborah Root is a positive/fear-free trainer and the owner of A1 Positive Dog Training. She also owns a boarding facility that follows positive-based and fear-free principles.
Deborah holds certifications in AKC CGC and serves as the Owner at her training facility. Her training philosophy centers around providing a fair and fear-free learning process for both humans and animals.
Located in Concord, Michigan, she specializes in household behaviors, trick training, and beginner agility sessions. Deborah is known for her training style, which she refers to as ‘creative training.’
With a background in agility training for over 12 years, she has competed through AKC, UKC, and CPE. Currently, she is concentrating on search and rescue training with her personal dog and also serves as a CGC evaluator.
