Hemlock Hollow LLC is a graduate of Pat Miller’s Peaceable Paws Academies and the Karen Pryor Academy, offering group classes and private consultations. They employ reward-based training using humane methods.
Their certifications include CPDT and graduation from the Karen Pryor Academy, as well as Pat Miller’s Peaceable Paws internships. They utilize training equipment such as flat buckle collars, martingales, no-pull harnesses, and gentle leaders.
Their training philosophy centers around the idea that dog training should be a journey the entire family enjoys. They believe that reward-based training fosters a trusting relationship between owners and their dogs, while simultaneously teaching dogs to become well-mannered family companions. They serve Albany and adjacent counties, providing private behavioral consultations and in-home training.
