Cheryl, a professional dog trainer and owner of Talk Dog Toledo, has been training dogs in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan areas for the past 19 years.
Having worked with over 3500 dogs, she possesses the skill to assist owners with new puppies or behavioral issues in their dogs, specializing in puppies and therapy dogs.
Cheryl’s certifications include being a Professional Dog Trainer/Owner. Her training equipment includes standard leashes, long lunge lines, Freedom no-pull harnesses, and no-slip collars, tailored to the specific needs of the dog and owner.
At Talk Dog Toledo Home Dog Training, the focus is on teaching Behavioral Modification rather than just Obedience Training, helping owners understand their dog’s thought process and learning tendencies.
The service area covers Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan, offering APDT C.L.A.S.S courses such as Canine Life and Social Skills, Canine Good Citizens, Community Canine, Trick Classes, and Therapy Dog Training, with plans to introduce Service Dog Coaching in the near future.
