Meridus K9 & Equine, LLC is led by Cecilia Anastos, who boasts over 20 years of experience in dog training without force or painful methods. Her father served as her initial mentor, and at 16 years old, she began working with German Shepherd Dogs in obedience training.
Her approach emphasizes developing a leadership-based relationship with dogs, aiming to create a trustworthy companion motivated by respect and love rather than fear. Cecilia’s unique puppy-raising methods result in well-behaved and loyal companions. Additionally, she is an Equine Massage Therapist and Cavaletti Trainer with a history of working with horses since 1996, pioneering her techniques at the San Diego Polo Club.
Cecilia holds certifications as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and her training philosophy revolves around utilizing positive reinforcement and other gentle behavior modification techniques to reorient dog behavior.
