As a certified dog trainer with Animal Behavior College, she aids dogs and their owners to bridge the communication gap through positive training methods. She teaches humans how to use food-based rewards and/or clickers to help their dogs learn a command or appropriate behavior.
Additionally, she instructs on the proper use of flat collars and head collars. Her mission is to train dogs while teaching their owners to interpret the dog’s body language for better communication. This involves teaching problem-solving strategies to build confidence.
Her services are available in Montgomery and Bucks counties in southeastern Pennsylvania, offering personalized in-home training to suit the client’s schedule and minimize distractions. She focuses on teaching basic training skills such as sit, come, down, heel, and stay to dogs of all ages.
With a master’s degree in psychology, she is well-equipped to assess and work on behavioral issues. After each session, she provides a written summary e-mailed to the client for future reference, emphasizing the importance of owners’ involvement in all aspects of the training sessions.
