Pettis County K9 Academy offers dog-friendly obedience training, puppy socialization, and obedience programs for both puppies and adult dogs. These include Basic, Level 1, 2, and 3 obedience training.
Additionally, the academy provides aggression management/control and problem-solving services. The trainers are certified by the Animal Behavior College and use a variety of training tools based on the specific needs of each dog and owner. They adhere to a balanced training philosophy, aiming to establish clear communication between dog and handler with fairness and compassion.
The academy primarily serves the Sedalia, MO, and surrounding areas but is open to clients from other locations. Many clients travel 30 to 60 minutes to attend sessions. The programs are designed to help build and foster a better relationship between owners and their dogs, emphasizing leadership and relationship skills alongside command training.
