Ally Verba, CPDT-KA CSAT FFCT, embarked on her journey in the Animal Welfare and Behavior industry in 2010. Upon realizing her strong passion for animal behavior, she enrolled in the Dog Training Internship Academy led by renowned Dog Trainer, Janis Bradley.
After completing her internship, she obtained her CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer- Knowledge Assessed) Certificate, became a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer, and underwent training to become a Fear Free Certified Animal Trainer. Eager to expand her knowledge, she pursued continued education, including Susan Friedman’s Living and Learning with Animals Seminar, the IAABC-Shelter Dog Behavior mentorship, CATCH Canine Trainers Academy, DogTec Academy, and Amy Cook’s “The Play Way.” Additionally, she is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
Her extensive educational background has provided her with opportunities to work with the Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare Lab at Virginia Tech. She has also held key roles as a Behavior Supervisor at Asheville Humane Society, a member of the Behavior Team at Contra Costa Animal Services, and a Behavior Team member and Class Instructor with the East Bay SPCA. Furthermore, she has collaborated with various rescues, including Woof Meow Rescue, Family Dog Rescue, and Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.
