C.H.A.C.O. Dog Training & Behavior Consulting, LLC offers various services in dog training and behavior consulting. The following services are available:
- Day Training: Conducted at the client’s home to train their dog.
- Coaching: Training the dog and teaching the client how to work with their dog to maintain new behaviors learned.
- Board & Train: The client’s dog lives with the trainer for a few days to a few weeks, receiving daily exercise and training.
- Group classes and workshops on various topics are available, with small classes being the norm (4 clients and their dogs).
- Extensive experience in training shelter dogs.

Tellington TTouch Practitioner Graduate, SFSPCA Academy for Dog Trainers, August 2007 CTC certificate earned
Training Equipment:
Utilizes motivators such as food, toys/play, and life rewards. Also employs head-halters, muzzles (when needed for safety), calming caps, TTouch wraps, groundwork equipment, and clickers.
Training Philosophy:
Based on the behavioral sciences, aiming to provide actionable recommendations that clients understand. Empathy for both the person and the dog are hallmarks of the training approach.
Day Training:
Offers in-home training at the client’s home or a pre-arranged location, with individual and package sessions available based on the client’s goals and behavior modification needs.
Coaching:
Provides training for the dog and educates the client on working with their dog, offering individual and package sessions based on the client’s goals and behavior modification needs.
Board & Train:
Involves the client’s dog living with the trainer for a period of time, receiving daily exercise and training, with pre-screening required. The training sessions may include TTouch bodywork and groundwork when applicable.
