The Dog Human Alliance (DHA) offers in-home private training sessions throughout Manhattan and also provides virtual training for clients outside of NYC. The CPDT-KA certified trainer and Family Paws Educator provides education and training for foundational skills, puppies, leash reactivity, and for families with dogs. The philosophy at DHA revolves around the belief that strong dog-human relationships are built on partnership, which includes communication, trust, and love. The organization was founded as a learning platform, acknowledging that both the trainer and the human-dog partnership are in a constant state of learning. Clients will acquire knowledge and techniques to facilitate a healthy, enduring partnership, considering their goals and understanding their dog’s unspoken objectives. Environmental context, relevant breed information, developmental stages, and interpreting body language are all considered in the training process.
