Kinship Dog Training
Kinship Dog Training was founded by Ali Peace and Jill Seward. Ali Peace is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) and Karen Pryor Certified Training Professional (KPA-CTP) who has been training professionally since 2005. She studied Biological Sciences at Stanford and then spent 4.5 years in a Biochemistry PhD program at Duke before switching to dog training. Jill Seward is a CPDT-KA, UW-AAB, CCS and has been involved in the dog training world since 2008. She started a popular Seattle area pet business, Little Furry Things, and provides day training for reactive dogs and coaching for their humans.
Training Philosophy
Kinship Dog Training uses positive reinforcement as the primary tool for changing behavior. They want to help you build your relationship with your dog such that there is mutual trust, respect and joy when you work together and in the life you share. They find clicker training useful, but will not force the clicker on anyone who doesn’t want to use it.
