History
Trista Miller has had a variety of pets her entire life, including horses, rabbits, cats, fish, birds and dogs including poodles, boxers, German shepherds, and mix breed dogs. Trista has owned and bred Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and has fostered mixed breed and full-breed dogs. Trista is married and has two fur babies: Bitzy (mixed breed, Jack Russell and Miniature Poodle), and Piper (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel).
Training Philosophy
Trista uses scientifically-based, humane, fear-free and pain-free methods to teach your dog new, beneficial behaviors and reduce unwanted behaviors. She does not use shock (e-collars), prong, choke collars or other aversive methods.

- Private Training Sessions:
- Individual training sessions in your home, local park, or in a pet friendly retail location will work on targeted issues and will develop a training plan for you to use at your own pace and on your own time.
- An intake session is the first step for new clients, which will be an up to 90 minute session for $115.
- Follow up sessions are up to 60 minutes and $75.
- Aggression related cases require a $25 surcharge per session. - Virtual Training Sessions:

Certifications
Trista is a CPDT-KA certified trainer, AKC CGC and Trick Dog Evaluator, and certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. She has completed Michael Shikashio's Master Course-Aggression in Dogs and Susan Friedman's Living and Learning with Animals course.
