Sunriver K9 Genie
History
Tamre Huber, the founder of Sunriver K9 Genie, developed a passion for dogs and their well-being while volunteering at a local animal shelter. She realized that the best way to help dogs was to keep them out of shelters by providing owners with the tools and knowledge to raise well-behaved companions. This led her to pursue formal training and certification, graduating from the Animal Behavior College and earning her KPA CTP designation from the Karen Pryor Academy.
Training Philosophy
Sunriver K9 Genie utilizes positive reinforcement training methods, emphasizing reward-based techniques and avoiding fear, pain, force, or intimidation. The focus is on teaching dogs what to do rather than punishing them for unwanted behaviors.
