Stephanie's passion for dog training began after she adopted her third dog, Lance, from a local shelter. Lance had numerous behavior issues, which sparked Stephanie's interest in dog training. She delved into extensive research and attended numerous seminars to better understand dog behavior and training techniques in order to assist him.
With her dedication, Lance made remarkable progress, transforming from a scared, highly reactive dog to a confident NW2 dog. Unfortunately, in 2017, Lance succumbed to lymphoma, leaving a profound impact on Stephanie.
Stephanie's journey into nose work began in 2010, and she found herself captivated from the outset. As a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI), she recently retired her original nose work dog, Logan, and is currently competing with her third nose work dog, Leena. In addition to nose work, she has experience teaching puppy classes and private sessions.
Her eagerness to learn and expand her knowledge about dogs is evident, as she is continually enriched by the training provided by her delightful pups – Lacey, Logan, Leena, and Leevi.
