Rebecca Stanford Anderson
Rebecca Stanford Anderson's love for cats and dogs began early. She volunteered at the Ogden City Animal shelter and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. In high school, she met a lady on a plane who introduced her to Canine Companions for Independence. She spent 12 years raising service dog puppies for this organization. She also worked as a PetSmart trainer and founded a non-profit, Zoomdog Agility and Sports Club. After working as a middle school teacher, she took a break from dog training and focused on therapy dog work with her dog Trini. After a period of burnout, she discovered the positive reinforcement training community and became a force free, fear free trainer.

Positive reinforcement centers on rewarding preferred behaviors, ensuring a pleasant learning journey for your dog. This humane approach is scientifically proven to be the most effective long-term training method, strengthening the bond between you and your pet. By consistently rewarding good behavior, your dog learns to associate actions with positive outcomes, leading to lasting improvements and a happier companion.
