Lisa grew up in a home with multiple pets and always knew her children would be raised with dogs. She became a stay-at-home mom with a husband working long days in NYC and three small children, plus two energetic dogs. This led her to realize her passion for dog training after taking basic obedience classes for her dogs.

Lisa's training philosophy is based on a positive reinforcement approach and all methods are humane, efficient and results oriented. She is well versed in the science that underlies the principals of animal learning. She uses positive reinforcement and behavioral modification methods that are backed by current scientific research and animal training theory. Her primary goal is to help owners effectively communicate with their dogs in order to elicit desirable behaviors and avoid unwanted and problem behaviors.

- Private Coaching: Develop a solid foundation of basic obedience while learning to deal with real world challenges. Pre and Post Baby consultations also available.
- Day Training: Desperate for a well behaved dog, but no time to train? This program allows Lisa to train your dog for you while you continue to deal with everything else in your busy life.
- The Family Dog Private Training: This program is customized to get everyone involved. You'll get all the tools and support you need to get your kids on board, your dog in check and the whole family working as a team!
- Puppy/New Dog Orientation/Training: This six-week program will start you and your puppy out on the right foot. Lisa will help you prepare yourself, your home and your family for life with a puppy.
Certifications
Lisa is a certified professional dog trainer and dog walker. She earned her initial certification from the on-campus CATCH Canine Trainer's Academy held at St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in 2015. She graduated with distinction from a full-time, six-week program. She is also a graduate of the dog*tech intensive Dog Walking Academy in 2015. Lisa is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
