Kurt met his mentor, trainer Dina Zaphiris, who took him under her wing allowing him to assist her in dog training lessons as he gained his 300 hours of individual training with her and his own clients. He took the test twice with CCPDT.org passing the “Knowledge Assessed” written test as well as the “Skills Assessed” training actual clients and dogs test, gaining him the distinction of CPDT-KSA.
