Karen Shipe left the world of high tech six years ago to pursue her passion of working with dogs. She is a force-free trainer who uses reward-based methods to train dogs. She completed her apprenticeship with Mardi Richmond of Good Dog Santa Cruz. She is a graduate of the Trish King Academy of Dog Behavior and completed the Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Foundations course. She spent 5 years volunteering at the Humane Society Silicon Valley socializing and working with shelter dogs.
