The head trainer, Karen, has been involved in dog showing since the age of 12 and has shown numerous dogs to their championship. She has also taught handling skills to adults and juniors.

With a career spanning many years, Karen has trained and competed in agility, helping her own dog achieve an Agility Excellent title. Her Golden Retrievers have also competed in agility, and her Pointer, Parker, achieved a 3rd ranking in the US in 2008-2009, completely owner-handled.

Karen's experience includes working at the Paws ‘N Effect Canine Training Center in Hamden, CT, where she managed the Paws for Play Canine Day Program and instructed Breed Handling and Family Basics Obedience classes from 2005-2011.

In 2011, she established Harmony Dog Training in Western NY, offering classes and private instruction in family obedience, dog showing, rally, foundation agility, Barn hunting, and Therapy Dog training.

Under Karen's guidance, many of her students (both human and canine) have achieved titles, certifications, and championships. Some accomplishments include gaining International titles, completing Canine Good Citizen certification, and finishing championships.
