Jennifer Taggart began her career volunteering at a shelter and saw too many animals caught in a revolving door of adoption and returns. She decided she wanted to reverse this trend. Her goal is to help pet parents bond with their animals, fostering a lifetime of love and devotion. Over the last 10 years, she has helped hundreds of pet parents and taught a wide variety of skills ranging from basic training to service dog tasks to individual problem solving.

Jennifer Taggart offers a variety of dog training services, including:

  • Group Classes: 6 consecutive weeks with a certified trainer, once a week for 45 minutes. Covers fundamental skills such as sit, "leave it", coming when called, walking on a leash, and more. Also discusses how to solve common issues such as potty training, biting, separation anxiety, barking, etc.
  • Puppy Group Classes: 6 consecutive weeks with a certified trainer, once a week for 45 minutes. Designed for puppies under 5 months old. Covers socialization, experiencing the world in a positive way, and setting boundaries. Also covers fundamental skills and common puppy issues.
  • Private Classes: Flexible scheduling available for all programs. Ongoing support available for Premium and Ultimate programs. Virtual and In person options available.
    • Fundamentals: Designed to set your dog on the path towards becoming a well behaved member of the family. Covers skills such as sit, "leave it", coming when called, walking on a leash, and more. Also discusses how to solve common issues such as potty training, biting, separation anxiety, barking, etc.
    • Premium: Helps your dog master the fundamental skills as well as teach your dog impulse control. Covers skills such as sit, “leave it” and coming when called, then move to walking politely, remaining calm around strangers, and much more!
    • Ultimate: Teaches your dog the skills needed to be calm, loyal companions that listen in any situation. Covers fundamental skills, impulse control, and listening without treats in hand.
    • Single Private Session: A private one on one session with a certified trainer to help you teach a specific skill, or any topic you wish to address. Each session is 45 minutes and can be done virtually or in person.
  • Reactive Dog Training: Helps dogs who struggle outside and/or in social situations. Tackles common problems such as lunging, excessive barking, overcoming fear of strangers, and much more. All classes are private for individualized attention.
  • Introducing Pets and Children: Designed for new or expectant parents to build a nurturing, safe environment where your dog and child can thrive together. Covers how to introduce your dog and baby, how to manage your environment, etc. Skills included in the course are geared towards the safety of both your baby and dog. These include "leave it", walking with leash and stroller, "go to bed", and much more.

Jennifer Taggart also offers cat training services, including:

  • Cat Training Services: Helps with issues such as excessive meowing at night, failure to use the litter box, introducing new people or animals, scratching in inappropriate places, and so much more. All classes are conducted via Zoom with a certified trainer.
