Jeni Grant created Train Your Best Friend, LLC to help the family dog and their families live happily together and to help with serious issues, such as anxiety, fear, aggression, and reactivity. Jeni has over 20 years of dog behavior experience and training. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed, and a member of several professional organizations.

Jeni provides group classes, seminars, private in home consults, online sessions, and direct training sessions with your dog. Train Your Best Friend is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and also offers remote services, such as phone consultations, seminars, and online classes to clients across the country.

Individual Services

  • Dog Behavior Consultation/Private Dog Training Sessions
    Up to 1.5 hours, $175 for first session, $125 for any following sessions.
    For dogs with behavior issues such as fear of people, dogs, noises, separation, handling, vet visits, guarding food and toys, etc. Includes custom advice and recommended behavior modification plan, training workbook, and some phone support. Also can be for dog/puppy training skills as well.
  • Dog Behavior Package
    Dog Behavior Consultation plus 2 follow-up sessions, $400 for 3 sessions
    Includes custom advice and recommended behavior modification plan, training workbook, and some phone support.
  • Day Training Session (I work directly with your dog)
    $75 per hour in my driving area

Group Classes
Group training classes for puppies and adult dogs, including fearful dogs.

Phone/Zoom Consultations
$65 per 45 to 60 minute session
Guidance & advice over the phone.
