Kamp K-9 was founded by Dave Jenner, a passionate dog owner who left the corporate world to pursue his passion for dogs. The facility opened in 2021 and has been providing pet care services ever since.
Training Philosophy
Kamp K-9 believes that every dog deserves a chance to succeed without limitations. They use a balanced training philosophy called Clear Signals Training (CST), which is composed of three distinct phases: Teaching, Training, and Proofing.
Services
Kamp K-9 offers a wide range of services, including:
- Day Kamp: A social play environment for dogs, with morning and afternoon play sessions and quiet time in between. Day Boarding is also available for non-social dogs.
- Boarding: Provides a “like home” experience for dogs while their owners are away, with amenities such as raised Kuranda beds, climate-controlled spaces, room service, and regular housekeeping.
- Training: Offers various training programs, including:
- One-on-One Training Program: A 15-day program with 40 minutes of daily 1-on-1 instruction and 15 private lessons for owners.
- Board and Train – Obedience Boot Kamp: A two-week intensive program designed for busy pet parents.
- One-on-One Private Training: Private 60-minute sessions available in packages of 5 or 10.
- Refresher: A 6-day program for dogs that have completed a training program before.
- Day Training: A supplemental option for dogs in Day Kamp.
- In Home Training Program: 1-hour sessions in the comfort of the owner's home.
- Group Training Classes: An advanced course for dogs with a solid level of obedience.
- Baths & Grooming: Offers basic bathing, full-service grooming, and a la carte services.
- Transportation: Provides transportation services for dogs.
