"Dana is amazing! so accommodating, comes right to the house.
after just a few lessons, he's already walking so much better!!! All
with positive reinforcement!!"
-Melanie Higgins
"Dana has been great helping us understand and smoothing out some behavioral issues with our year-and-a-half-old pup, Tess. She is so knowledgeable, flexible, positive, and fun to work with! Not only has she helped us with Tess, Dana also sat for our cat, Pumpkin, while we were out of town. We trust her 100% with our pets and home!"
-Mary Fay
"Dana has been a wonderful pet sitter for our critters! We have birds, dogs, a snake, and a bearded dragon and she has cared for them while we were away twice now, and we already have her lined up for a third time. She is dedicated to caring for our pets as if they were her own and we feel so at ease knowing that they are in good hands. It's always so nice to get her text updates, with awesome photos, every time she stops by during the day while we are gone. We highly recommend Dana and our pets do too!"
-Catherine Sucharski
"Dana is such an amazing human and our dog loved her! We had Dana come over for an hour to spend time with our Frenchie and to give him his dinner and his medication when we were away for an evening.
Our dog usually doesn't eat for other people and you know our dog loved Dana because he ate his entire dinner for her! She sent us a couple of text updates during her visit. Her initial meet up was extremely thorough. She has the experience and the education that made us very comfortable when it came to taking care of our dog. We will 100% reach out to her in the future for anything and we cannot recommend her enough!"
-Kelly Koestler
"Dana is great with my cat and I trust her and her care completely!"
-Amy Augustyn
"We love Dana!!! She is so sweet and relaxed. My dog is typically
very anxious around new people, yet she regulated within minutes
of Dana being with us. Dana uses positive reinforcement in her
training and is a great teacher! The kids and I loved that she came
to our house and was able to work within our organized chaos! I
absolutely recommend Dana if you have any training concerns!!!
Daisy was very sad when she left today.”
-Cate Horucy
"Dana was WONDERFUL and took such wonderful care of our Zoey. She made us feel so at ease while we were away and
sent us pictures of Zoey and treated Zoey as her own. Definitely will continue to use her services. She is fantastic!"
-Jody O'Connor
"Dana is a very caring, happy, outgoing, and knowledgeable person who made my dog front and center during our training. Lots of no-nonsense in our leash walking, praise as necessary, and kept my dog very much engaged as she taught him the leash manners he needed. Highly recommended!"
-Kari Hicks
"Dana is absolutely wonderful! She takes such good care of our pets. She loves them like they are her own! Dana always goes above and beyond when pet sitting for us.
She did fun enrichment activities with them and gave them all the attention and love they needed! I enjoyed the picture updates each day/visit so I could see how well they were doing while we were away.
Dana is the first person I think of when I need a pet sitter!"
-Katie Connolly
"Dana was fantastic when we went away for the day! I had peace of mind and comfort knowing that my animals were in good hands with someone who is not only bonded and insured, but pet first aid & CPR as well. The updates I received helped me to relax and enjoy my time away knowing that my animals were enjoying their time with someone who cared for them as much as I do! As a pet professional myself, I would trust my animals to no one else; Dana is the best!"
-Becki Klinger
"Absolutely love!!! I can't say enough good things about her! she did the most amazing job taking care of my circus! she gave them so much attention and love and snuggles, even hand fed my pups when they were nervous that I was away, to ensure they were eating. she administered eye drops in my dog's eye, who suffers from glaucoma. she gave my kitty meds in the mornings no problem! I never once had to worry about my pets. because she kept me updated with how they were doing and they were doing wonderfully with her!! super professional and goes above and beyond. I will only use Comfort Zone Critter Care and always highly recommend them!!! The absolute best!"
-Hannah Goldsmith
"Dana is absolutely wonderful! Not only was she great with our fur babies but she also took care of our home as well. She brought in our mail, watered plants, took out our garbage, and so on. I, like many others, have a serious Amazon problem and I didn't have to worry about any packages being left outside. We also enjoyed the daily updates and pictures. I will be inviting her back the next time we go away!"

Seriously, if you have any questions about training your dog, we have the answers.
We have created a directory of licensed dog trainers specializing in positive reinforcement methods. These trainers are not affiliated with Dogo, and all information is gathered from publicly available sources. Each profile provides a brief overview of the trainer's experience and expertise.
Start by evaluating your dog's needs and identifying your training objectives. Each trainer's profile provides insights into their areas of expertise. Match these with your dog's character and your goals to find the ideal fit.
All trainers listed here are certified professionals with extensive knowledge of positive reinforcement techniques.
Positive reinforcement centers on rewarding preferred behaviors, ensuring a pleasant learning journey for your dog. This humane approach is scientifically proven to be the most effective long-term training method, strengthening the bond between you and your pet. By consistently rewarding good behavior, your dog learns to associate actions with positive outcomes, leading to lasting improvements and a happier companion.
Yes, they are. Our trainers are adept in basic obedience or intricate behavioral challenges. Browse their profiles to identify a trainer who specializes in the particular issues you wish to address.
Simply click on the preferred trainer's profile to access their contact details. From there, you can get in touch to discuss your requirements and set up training appointments.
Group sessions offer a communal setting where your dog learns general obedience alongside other dogs. In contrast, private sessions grant focused attention, making them perfect for targeted behavior modifications or individualized training agendas.
All our trainers are committed to positive reinforcement techniques and steer clear of any harsh or punitive methods. Their primary goal is to make training a joyous journey for you and your dog.
Results depend on factors like your dog's nature, the specific behaviors in question, and your training consistency. While many clients observe improvements in just a few sessions, it's crucial to be patient and persistent.
Reach out to the trainer you're interested in to discuss possibly attending a session. It's a great way to get a feel for their approach and see if it aligns with your expectations.
