Redfern Canines offers basic training, puppy classes, obedience, C.L.A.S.S., rally, beginning agility, CGC/Therapy Dog, nosework, IMPROV, private lessons, and clicker and therapy dog seminars.

Certifications:
- Training Equipment: Most dogs are trained using only leashes and buckle/flat collars. We also use EasyWalk harnesses and head halters as appropriate. No pinch/prong or shock collars are utilized.
Training Philosophy: Redfern training is based on positive reinforcement of desired behaviors and does not involve physical punishments. Rewards or treats are encouraged during the learning process.
Locations Served: Redfern Canines serves Harrisburg and South-central PA, including the east shore communities of Harrisburg, Hershey, Hummelstown, Colonial Park, Grantville, Swatara, Highspire, Middletown, Dauphin, Millersburg, Halifax, and others, as well as the west shore communities of Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Liverpool, Millerstown, Enola, Duncannon, Marysville, Newville, Carlisle, and others.
Training Options: Positive reinforcement training is offered in small classes and individual lessons both at Redfern Canines' training center and in the client's home. Classes are available on Saturday mornings and early afternoons, Sunday afternoons, and weekday evenings.
Kidz 'n K-9s: Our day camp program is designed for kids aged 7 and older to train their own dog.
K9 NoseWork: We offer K9 NoseWork classes, and Betsy is currently qualified as an ANWI (Associate NoseWork Instructor) and a member of NACSW.
Redfern Canine Day School: This program provides an opportunity for your dog to receive professional training one day per week at Redfern. Your dog is left with the trainer for the day and comes home in the evening with new skills for you to practice.
