Anna Morey started Animal Behavior College in 2005 to become a Certified Dog Trainer. She has been living her dream ever since. She was a trainer for Our Pack Rescue, teaching a leash reactive class every Sunday for several years. Then she became the Director of Doggieville Doggie Daycare, where she ran the group classes, Board and Train Program and trained the staff on dog body language, communication and how to have fun. She has also volunteered for several rescues and has loved seeing dogs find there perfect homes and owners find their perfect companion.
Training Philosophy
Anna Morey's training methods are based on behavioral science using proactive methods following the Humane Hierarchy. She believes that a dog will do a behavior that gets them attention, positive or negative, and that this reinforces the behavior. She helps build communication so you and your dog become clear on what is expected and what is needed, so the bond is stronger.
Services
Anna Morey offers private one-on-one training sessions and group classes.
Private One on One Training Sessions:
- First Training Session/Consultation: 90 minutes to 2 hours. $220. Includes a 15-20 minute phone conversation to define the main behaviors you want to work on. During the session, you will work on management, training and communication. After the session, you will receive an email reviewing all that was worked on and the training plan along with links to items and equipment used.
- Follow Up Sessions: 75 minutes. $150. Review how the training plan is working, focus on using more distractions and strengthening up focus and duration of commands.

Please note: There is a travel fee of $25 if you are 30 miles outside of Shingle Springs, CA, OR over 45 minutes away.
