Services:
- Behavior Modification: Kind, effective training for dogs who bark, lunge, and bite, or who are fearful in a variety of situations. Includes fear of new people, other dogs, vet and grooming procedures, and more!
- Basic Manners: For dogs new to training and those with a limitless supply of enthusiasm. Learn how to work with your wild child and turn them into a more refined citizen, while preserving every bit of their joy.
- Separation Anxiety: For dogs who need support feeling safe while home alone. Don't settle for bandaid strategies; take back your life while knowing your dog is safe and comfortable at home. You both deserve it!
- Day Training: For those who want all of the results without all of the process. Let a dog trainer do the heavy lifting, then take over to maintain your dog's new skills! Suitable for basic manners and select behavior modification.
- Puppy Training: Safe, fun socialization and basic training for puppies under 20 weeks of age. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to support your puppy's growth into a perfect companion!
- Ask A Trainer: Find answers to your nagging questions about training, enrichment, and management! Focused on making your life with your dog easier, and/or supporting your next steps for training.
- Group Classes:
- Puppy Adventures: This socialization-focused class will help your puppy grow into a confident, well-rounded dog. Expect your puppy to learn that new people, dogs, and opportunities to explore are fun, not scary! We will also begin basic manners training, focusing on cues that will make living with your puppy easier, and discuss the prevention of common behavior problems.
- Wild Child: This class is for dogs who could be described as having a certain zest for life. Class will focus on teaching your jumping, pulling, mouthing, barking wild child some helpful manners and impulse control. We will also help you learn to channel your dog's energy into appropriate outlets.
- Dogs Thriving in the City @ Fountain Square Brewing: This class is for dogs who love coming to the brewery and going on other public outings, but sometimes have a hard time controlling their excitement. Customer Reviews
Tina's People: She is amazing with my big pittie breed dog who had quite the trauma when she was abandoned. ... Allie is highly organized, sends detailed homework, is smart and I feel like she really embodies what it is to be “fear free” as my anxious girls felt comfortable.

We've got the answers for your questions
Seriously, if you have any questions about training your dog, we have the answers.
We have created a directory of licensed dog trainers specializing in positive reinforcement methods. These trainers are not affiliated with Dogo, and all information is gathered from publicly available sources. Each profile provides a brief overview of the trainer's experience and expertise.
Start by evaluating your dog's needs and identifying your training objectives. Each trainer's profile provides insights into their areas of expertise. Match these with your dog's character and your goals to find the ideal fit.
All trainers listed here are certified professionals with extensive knowledge of positive reinforcement techniques.
Positive reinforcement centers on rewarding preferred behaviors, ensuring a pleasant learning journey for your dog. This humane approach is scientifically proven to be the most effective long-term training method, strengthening the bond between you and your pet. By consistently rewarding good behavior, your dog learns to associate actions with positive outcomes, leading to lasting improvements and a happier companion.
Yes, they are. Our trainers are adept in basic obedience or intricate behavioral challenges. Browse their profiles to identify a trainer who specializes in the particular issues you wish to address.
Simply click on the preferred trainer's profile to access their contact details. From there, you can get in touch to discuss your requirements and set up training appointments.
Group sessions offer a communal setting where your dog learns general obedience alongside other dogs. In contrast, private sessions grant focused attention, making them perfect for targeted behavior modifications or individualized training agendas.
All our trainers are committed to positive reinforcement techniques and steer clear of any harsh or punitive methods. Their primary goal is to make training a joyous journey for you and your dog.
Results depend on factors like your dog's nature, the specific behaviors in question, and your training consistency. While many clients observe improvements in just a few sessions, it's crucial to be patient and persistent.
Reach out to the trainer you're interested in to discuss possibly attending a session. It's a great way to get a feel for their approach and see if it aligns with your expectations.
