Covenant Keeper's K9 Training Facility is based on the western slope of Colorado, where the owner and trainer was raised on farms and ranches, fostering a deep love for animals.
From a young age, the owner knew a career involving animals was their calling. With over a decade of experience in animal care, including training animals since the age of 16, they have honed their skills.
As a high school senior, the owner professionally trained their first canine, a 1-year-old Siberian Husky, for competition. They have also worked with wild mustangs from the BLM and multiple horses, guiding them from weanling gentling to advanced saddle work.
Their accomplishments include taking multiple dogs through the AKC Good Canine Citizen evaluation (CGC) and titling one of their dogs as a National and International Champion in conformation/showmanship.
At present, their focus lies in training their own dogs for dock diving, scent work, rally, and parkour. The owner holds several certifications, including CPDT-KA, and serves as the Owner/Trainer at their facility on the Western Slope of Colorado.
Additionally, they actively contribute as the dog leader for Delta County 4-H, aiding kids in learning to train and bond with their dogs. Their educational background includes graduating from the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Behavior and Training in June 2017.
They are a Fear Free Certified Professional, having completed the Fear Free Certification, Fear Free Puppy and Kitten, and Leadership courses. Moreover, they have also completed the Better Veterinary Visits course through the Karen Pryor Academy.
