Louise M. Daigle

United States

Louise M. Daigle

Louise started training dogs when she wanted a puppy. She had to train the family dog to be well-mannered to get her own. She realized she had to learn more about behavior modification to help her dog, Manzo, succeed. She took every class and learned all she could to help Manzo feel more confident. In 2012, Louise graduated from UNH with a degree in Applied Animal Science. She worked at the New Hampshire SPCA training shelter dogs and teaching classes. She then worked at the Lakes Region Humane Society creating a Behavior Rehabilitation Program. She assessed each dog and created a behavior modification plan for their specific needs. Louise now runs Red Pointy Dog full time with Jake, offering a wide array of services to the community.

Louise believes in positive, playful, and trust-based training. She specializes in behavior modification for aggressive and reactive dogs.

Customer Reviews

“I want to give a HUGE shout out to Louise & Jake of Red Pointy Dog Training for all the top-notch personalized training and help they've given me and Zoe. I've seen incredible progress in Zoe every single day since working with Louise and Jake and I can't thank them enough.”
Lisa McNally

“I worked with Louise and Jake on training my dog Minnie, who has challenges with reactivity to strangers. Working and practicing with both of them has been a huge benefit to Minnie and we are continuing to work hard! Both Louise and Jake are thorough and committed and have checked in on Minnie and I even when we’re not in the middle of a series of training sessions! I look forward to continuing to work with them both in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking support with their fur babies!”
Nikki Bell

“We worked with Louise and Jake for basic obedience through level 3. They are both friendly, professional and made sure each participant had their questions or challenges answered in class. We also worked with Louise for a private session to work on some challenges... she was timely and after our session she recapped everything we learned with an overview email so we could continue training at home with a list of key points to reference. I highly recommend Red Pointy Dog.”
