Carrie Moskowitz has been working with dogs for close to 20 years and recently added llamas, sheep, and cats to the list of species she likes teaching.
She majored in Psychology with an emphasis on 20th-century behavioral methodology.
She discovered clicker training about 15 years ago and has been using positive reinforcement-based training ever since.
She has attended and participated in many training workshops over the years and continues to do so to keep her knowledge and skills up to date.

Training Philosophy

Carrie believes that dog training is all about effective communication with another species.
She enjoys helping out-of-control dogs become polite and cooperative family members and helping shy or fearful dogs grow into more confident and social companions.
She tailors her lessons to the levels of her clients (both canine and human).

Services

Carrie offers private lessons, generally held in the client's home.
She also offers in-person outdoor sessions and remote online sessions.
She begins with teaching or reviewing basic foundation cues such as Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Leave it, Drop it, and Leash Walking.
She tailors each session to address the specific concerns of the client, their family, and their dog.
Most clients need from one to four sessions to reach their training goals.
She provides email and phone support.
