Customer Reviews

Bev is such an excellent trainer! Our dog Penny had gone to different training before working with Head Over Heels, so she already had the basics down, but Bev really helped us tweak a few habits in only one session! I would highly recommend her to anyone who feels like they need help with training because she explains the steps so clearly and makes the whole process easy and not stressful. Who knew dog training could actually be fun?? Kristi T
Beverly was absolutely wonderful with our yellow labs Bruce and Lloyd. She trained them with us at our home which was very convenient. After just a few sessions these guys have learned to sit down touch and walk on leash avoiding distractions!!! We have the tools to continue the training on our own each week in between her visits!! We highly recommend her! Danielle and Robin
Beverly worked with our dog Dean. He is nervous around strangers. She gave us great tips to use and Dean was eating out of her hand. She is great with dogs! Cheryl

Country Acres Dog Academy Certifications:

Job Title: Force-Free Positive Reinforcement Dog Trainer

At Country Acres Dog Academy, the trainer utilizes force-free positive reinforcement to assist clients and their dogs in achieving their training objectives. With a training philosophy rooted in force-free positive reinforcement, the academy serves the Reno/Sparks area.

Having been born and raised in Reno, NV, the trainer has always harbored a deep passion for working with and caring for animals. Initially, their career began as a dog trainer at a board and train dog training facility, where they had the opportunity to train various breeds in basic manners and obedience. Subsequently, they pursued a career in animal care, obtaining a Veterinary Technician License in 2011. This allowed them to gain extensive experience in the care of not only dogs and cats but also research animals such as monkeys.

Despite finding this work rewarding, the trainer always yearned to do more to share their passion for the human-animal bond. This led them to realize a lifelong dream in 2021: becoming a full-time dog trainer. Upon graduating from the Animal Behavioral College, they established Country Acres Dog Academy, aiming to impart their knowledge of dog training and physiology to clients. Their primary objective is to implement force-free positive training methods tailored to the individual needs of both clients and their dogs.

The trainer finds the most gratifying aspect of their work in observing how training can assist owners in fostering a positive and rewarding relationship with their four-legged companions.
