Love of Dogs Training offers expertise in Redwood City, San Carlos, Los Altos, and the Bay Area Peninsula. The trainer, with over 40 years of experience, has worked extensively in various settings, including pet store classes, private client sessions, canine rescue groups, and training for law enforcement and protection dogs.

Each dog and family present unique challenges and opportunities for growth, requiring tailored training approaches. Keeping abreast of the latest techniques through research, seminars, and collaboration with other trainers, Love of Dogs Training aims to foster trust and understanding between owners and their beloved pets.

While the trainer previously worked with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Mounted Horse Unit, the enduring love for dogs has remained constant. Witnessing the special bond between dogs and their owners is a deeply rewarding experience.

Kim Reynick offers in-home private dog training services. She is certified in positive reinforcement/reward-based training and specializes in pack dynamics, leash manners, recall, fear/aggression, puppy training, and socialization.

Kim serves the San Francisco Bay Area, including Atherton, Belmont, Burlingame, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Redwood City, San Carlos, and San Mateo.

Kim's core belief is that a positive approach to training should be part of every dog’s education. She believes in setting dogs up for success by shaping their behavior and rewarding desired results.

Kim aims to teach dog owners to communicate effectively with their pets and understand their signals to prevent unwanted behaviors from becoming habits.

Tasha Suda

Tasha Suda is an active dog trainer and behaviorist since 2000. She has a background in grooming and graduated from Trish King's Canine Behavior Academy in 2006. In 2013, she became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) by passing the Association of Professional Dog Trainers testing requirements.

Heavenly Paws Training offers a wide range of dog training services including group classes, in-home private training, and playgroups.

• Group Classes:
  
  • Beginning: 6-week series, $220. Covers basic obedience skills like walking on a loose lead, coming when called, and leaving items on the ground.
  • Intermediate: 6-week series, $220. Builds upon beginning skills and works towards off-leash responses.
  • Agility: 6-week series, $220. Introduces dogs to beginning agility equipment and builds confidence.
  • Advanced|Agility: 6-week combo series, $220. Continues to build confidence through agility and improves obedience skills.
  • CGC Prep Class: 3-week series, $150. Prepares dogs for the AKC's CGC Test.
  • DOGA!: 3-week series, $150. Teaches dogs to relax with their person, enjoy massage, and practice basic skills like hand targeting and stretching.
  • Play Group: Held on Saturday mornings at 9:15 am for puppies and polite players. $25 per session, pre-registration required 3 days in advance.
  • The Club!: Held on Saturdays at 12:45 pm for Intermediate Class graduates. $55 per session, registration required 3 days in advance.

Certifications

Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA)

ECC solutions offers group obedience classes and private lessons for all levels. They also provide scent training classes and individual instruction. Certifications are available. ECC serves locations in the Peninsula and northern Santa Clara county.
