20 Paws specializes in all training leading up to and including Therapy Dog Certification, as well as providing training for Emotional Support Dogs. The Training Director holds the CPDT-KA designation and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and an AIR Therapy Dogs: Paws For Minds Instructor and Evaluator, as well as a Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog Evaluator.

The company offers animal-friendly training equipment and a philosophy that emphasizes fun and positivity in dog training. Miki, a Pomeranian, works with the Training Director and has earned several certifications, including the AKC Therapy Dog Title of Distinction, AKC Canine Good Citizen, and AIR Therapy Dog Certification. Miki was honored with the American Kennel Club Humane Fund Award for Canine Excellence (ACE) for his work as a therapy dog. He received the AKC ACE at the Eukanuba National Championship in December of 2011, televised on ABC Network on Feb. 4, 2012.
