Customer Reviews

The SMRTDOG team is the best! I loved how the puppy pre-school lessons built upon the previous lessons, and gave the puppies time to play and build social skills. Brumby and I use what we learned in pre-school every day. We've also taken two agility courses with Smrtdog. It was a joy to watch the SMRTDOG Staff work with Brumby as they introduced us to each new agility obstacle, seeing Brumby go quickly from uncertain or even scared to happy and confident.

I can't say enough about the SMRTDOG Team! We rescued a young old shepherd mix from a local rescue organization, named Ty. Ty was highly reactive and had a lack of impulse control. SMRTDOG Staff was able to work with us on a number of items including reactivity and impulse control. After training with SMRTDOG Staff, Ty is like a new dog. He is able to walk by other dogs without barking. He no longer gets riled up when buses go by.

The bottom line is the SMRTDOG Staff knows animal behavior. They were excellent at connecting with our dog and a huge comfort to me. However, I knew nothing would help if I did not follow her instructions and practice. I am grateful to the SMRTDOG Staff for teaching me how to keep our doberman,Rasha safe and me in control. In the end, I feel closer to my dog than before.

As I continue to meet various people and dogs, and experience all kinds of situations, it becomes more and more true that getting connected with SMRTDOG Staff and involving Louie in smrtdog classes/activities was one of the most valuable gifts ever, to all of us. It will always be.

It's not old school dog training (with choke collars and scolding) and it's not domination/intimidation like the 'Dog Whisperer.' SMRTDOG Staff has an amazing amount of knowledge, patience and insight into dog and owner behavior. Her methods work. Plus she's fun and funny and sincerely loves dogs.
